First roll the usual cheap Kodak Max 200, really starting to like this film for it's colour palette. Fine grain, it does not have. B.Toews Posted September 21, 2017 Share #40142 Posted September 21, 2017 Sweet, B ^ Thanks! Outstanding photography as usual Brendan! I want to know what is your secret to always produce such high quality work Thank you Edward! I wouldn't say that all of my work is high quality, I just get out shooting as much as possible and spend a lot of my free time on photographic pursuits. Phenomenal work, great eye! Thanks Steve! Masterful, Brendan. I really enjoy these and look forward to them! Thank you Adam! Your Dead Sea work has all been excellent! Sparkassenkunde Posted September 21, 2017 Share #40147 Posted September 21, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) The next picture has no deeper meaning, I just wanted to show you, on what wheels we did our road trip last month. Interestingly I had a small chat with an older men at this parking spot. The men was proud of is reliable Toyota, told us about his family and gave us the advice to leave our planned route for a visit of Hellevoetsluis, where we found a nice little harbor and had a good time. maxip Posted September 22, 2017 Share #40149 Posted September 22, 2017 Hey Guys, some of you might remember me, some won't. I was quite a frequent poster here in this Thread. I really learned a lot about shooting and developing film (at home) from all of you. A while ago I sold my M6 0.58, 35 Summi and my Pakon to fund a M9.That doesn't mean I didn't enjoy film. It was quite the opposite. I still love it. Developing at home, specially in combination with the Pakon, was such a pleasure. But I do not have the time (at the moment) to shot film, wait till I finished the roll(what often took me weeks) and to develop and scan it at home because there is a lot going on in my life right now.For this reason I switched my Camera. There was no other option, of course it has to be Messsucher. The second I looked through the Messsucher of my first M6 my mind was blown away. I loved everything about it. As far as I can tell I love my M9, its (still) a awesome camera. Best thing about it is it feels completely like both my M6. I can operate it blind. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you contributing to this thread. I will check back and look at all your great work. Luckily I follow the most of you on Instagram and Flickr anyways.Hopefully I can post here again in few years - If I have more time These are the last shots I took with my M6. Sparkassenkunde Posted September 22, 2017 Share #40150 Posted September 22, 2017 I wish you all the best on your ongoing journey and can understand your decision. I guess, in some years time you will find the right mood and circumstances to come back to film. Lucky are those, who can go both ways - film and digital - at the same time. As I am not dogmatic about either medium, I take the cam with me, that suits my mood. In the last months my film equipment found more attention, but this could change very fast Here comes another one from my road trip series. Sparkassenkunde Posted September 22, 2017 Share #40154 Posted September 22, 2017 While we travelled through Normandy, I showed my 11 year old son some of the historic sites. It was the first time I encountered him with those dark times and the evil our people brought over the world. It was a very moving experience for both of us. We had seen some of the bunkers of the "Atlantic wall" and the Todt-battery, but the visit to the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial was by far the deepest and most emotional experience. With deep respect and in honor of those brave men, who lost their live to bring freedom to Europe, I post the following picture: Welcome, dear visitor!
