Hopefully not boring you all with my maritime pictures, I have one more to present which came from another test roll. On my birthday I got a set from Konica. It consists of a Konica Autoreflex TC with 28/3.5 , 50/1.7 and 135/3.5 lenses. Although this set wasn't in use for at least two decades, the included light meter batteries seem to be spot on. It may not be one of the classic and sought after SLR, but as a light alternative esp. with the wide angle lens I will probably use it from time to time.

Very impressive results, Neil! Your new style of presentation with the handwritten signature is very appealing. Is there some kind of light leak in the top right corner of the second picture or is it just a special form of cloud?

I just noticed that James...I think you are right about the light leak.......I will mark that film holder to see if it is consistent when I shoot some more.

Thanks

Neil

Wow, amazing work, James, Antonio, Madeva, Neil, Wayne, Adam!

I digged out some transparencies from 2012, now that I have a good scanner, I wanted to test it.

These are at Kefraya vineyards, Lebanon.

Another combo of the Velvia 50 and the Zeiss Sonar Superachromat 250mm in the Dead Sea.  This time, a tightly framed snippet of the burning glow from the pending sunrise over the oily salt water with the salt formations providing texture. :)

This is Rome – the Cathedral of St. John Lateran. It is the cathedral church of the Bishops of Rome (not St. Peters). XP2.

I've not seen many (any?) images posted here which include sprocket holes. I suspect the purists would think it's childish, but I like to see clear evidence of film.

I'd have to throw my X1 away and use a flatbed to do that! :p

Surely, though, the sprocket holes would simply serve to surprise youngsters who have never seen film and demonstrate some sort of one-upmanship to them? We all know about them and it would just waste our precious pixel allowance for forum images, unless you are using 'evidence' in the sense of proving we are not surreptitiously posting digital images (and if it were true that the only way to tell if an image is from film is to see the sprockets holes, we would all be better off using digital cameras....)

Coffee stop at Revolver in Vancouver. It is considered one of the best coffee shops in town and it is very present on social networks. Also it seems to attract photographers (in particular Leica owners) and video makers.

Coffee and cappuccino were actually good.

Classic, James.  You have coined a signature color palette for yourself.  Love it.
