Pete thanks for your comment :)

In my case , 8 years with digital it's enough  , aproximate color , edges too sharp mostly

black unhomogeneous , scratches on sensor , moiré ....  I come back to film and I save my money

not to purchase again one robot camera ....

I find great pleasure take time to compose , less shutter syndrome , with film than with my 2 digital

cam (I still keep them just to compare film vs digital in color and alos in b&w)

It reminds me great memories when I saw your two series of pictures .... our thread about

scanner comparison ... unfortunately lost after Andreas changed the Leica User Forum (LUF)

to new forum (LF)

Superb composition and framing. Nice black grey tone with no equivalent in your two series

of pictures posted above.

Thank you for posting Pete

You said "approximate" color ? valid for all digital cameras !

All pictures are uncorrected ! :)

All wonderful to look at Henry - and the colours are so restrained compared to 'cooked' Jpegs.  The horses, the road and the trees is particularly lovely.

I like color of stone and water and a little "red" spot  :)

Nice composition Dan

Some more Kodak TX400 , really a wonderful film for black and white  :)

the nuance in black and grey and the sensitivity are really amazing ,

the synthesis of light and shadow are great !

In digital the conversion color in b&w is not satisfying !

Pete - You are a champ.  This is great.

One more, just to add that the lens used was the 50mm Summilux Asph.

Thanks, Henry :)

Adam , I like these colors really refreshing and nice

The blue and its nuance are superb

Thank you Adam

Keith - Very nice.  I especially really like the second.  Would make a very nice print on a wall of someone who loves the beautiful English countryside.

Two from yesterday morning's quick stroll around Avebury.  Hasselblad 500C, 80mm Planar (with yellow/green filter), Fomapan 100, Rodinal.

Waiting for Opening Time

A photo the King's Cross tube station in London.

Had this on my hit list during my short visit a couple of week's ago.

Seen a lot of photos of this though none on film

SWC Ektar

That is certainly a different (and effective) viewpoint!
