Probably an underwater film, methinks.

These are awesomly otherworldly, Eoin. Really cool. When I saw them I though IR. Could it have less red sensitivity? I went googling and found this.

Thanks, Philip. That may well be it. They were in reloaded cassettes, so one of my bulk loaders may still have a 100' roll of it in there. The clear emulsion is an olive tint.

Eoin I do a research to find this film.I always find C315 not 31

You think which year for this film ?

I also correct in SE Pro and I choose "Kodak Panatomic 32 X" I obtain with your permission this picture with more black

and grey. Try also to print your negative. I think it'll be nice !

You have this link for the dates

http://www.kodak.com/corp/aboutus/heritage/milestones/default.htm

The film would have been either 1989 or 1990.

I remember these nomads, having met them earlier up in the mountains on the Afghan side, walking into Pakistan. The girls had blue eyes and blondish hair. My Pushtun colleagues called them the people with no Passports, and were a little scared of them.

Adam , a great picture with 2 persons and one child in the middle apparently waiting to go away

Beautiful color between black, prettier IMO as in the previous picture and the rock color of the wall  :)

Many thanks, Eoin and Henry.

Henry - i agree with you the colors of this one relative to the shots with velvia 50 that i posted earlier. Having said this, i think the colors and contrast of the velvia 50 (which i underexposed and had to push 1/2 stop) are more special and artistic, which i think helps distinguish them from the thousands of other (mostly digital) photos taken of this wall every day. If the boy wasnt in the photo it would be a rather ordinary lovely Portra shot. But to me the boy gives the shot a little interpretive potential. For me, the boy seems to be deafened by the soulful silent meditation of the two old men. The position of the men under the tree is interesting, too, b/c it was extremely hot and the tree provided some shade.

I mix 1 bag of D76 to one Gallon of water to create my "Stock" Solution.  You can then use the "Stock" solution straight up (Pure) or further dilute 1:1.  For a 1:1 dilution, I use 250ml of "Stock" solution + 250ml of distilled water for a total of 500ml per 1 roll of 120.

Yes Marc , I mean powder (109 g)  inside 1000 ml water. You call it pure or dilution 1:1 ? :D

Marc , so  I use the "stock" solution (pure) and no dilution.

And the last installment of Henry's lesson on NZ Forestry.

The pine logs were bought to a factory where they were "chipped". I'd assume the "rubbish" logs were, not the best of them.

This chip was then exported (Japan rings a bell, but it was in the 70's/80's, and I'm not even sure if it happens anymore.

This is a pile of the chip at Nelson Port, waiting to be loaded onto special ships, for export.

I love this, the child makes the photo. I enjoyed my time in Israel, would love to visit there again someday.

Thanks a lot for the kind comment. All i can say is that, if after the next couple of months of me spamming photos from Israel like some kind of a hack from the Israeli ministry of tourism, you still wish to make a trip, you really will need to make the trip!! Perhaps you could do it in the Summer while i am there and we can do some shooting together. :)
