Doc Henry Posted August 14, 2016 Author Share #19869 Posted August 14, 2016 (edited) Henry, "Pradovit + lens Color Plan 2.5/90 mm , with Velvia slides in Leitz cart" Man after my own heart! (My pradovits are the 2000 series) George Hi George You have a P2000 ? with the ColorPlan too ? One seeks to go quickly , to get a result immediately that's digital period and forget the quality , the prices of projectors sold off for less than nothing . I keep it It reminds me of the people who sell vinyl records and turntables to listen aggressive CD in place, and have seen now the vinyl records back in 2016 , regrets having sold , but it's too late You can not stop human stupidity. philipus Posted August 14, 2016 Share #19871 Posted August 14, 2016 Nice ones Eoin, especially the second. I just this evening looked into how to get rid of dust on b&w negatives and found this guide. I knew of the Dust and Scratches filter but didn't know it can be combined with the History Brusch. It works surprisingly well, though the result will depend on the image and one's patience. br Philip TMax 100 (dirty negatives)... I think I'm going to have to learn this off by heart (or take more care in my treatment of negatives...). Edited August 14, 2016 by EoinC
too old to care Posted August 14, 2016 Share #19873 Posted August 14, 2016 A few more from Europe. I spent a day in Gibraltar during a time when the English and Spanish were a bit upset with each other over who should own it. We were allowed to walk over, but not take our car. Needless to say, the car would have been more of hinderance that an asset. I enjoyed visiting there, just wish I could have spent more time sightseeing. Welcome, dear visitor! Guest )-( Posted August 14, 2016 Share #19879 Posted August 14, 2016 My fibre paper is due for delivery today for my home darkroom, the final ingredient so I can put it all to use, very excited! Now I'm trying to balance my growing interest in C-41 (including possibly printing one day since I have a rotary processor/colour enlarger head), my desire to get the good stuff on B&W (to print right now) and a burning interest in E-6 (which I've never even shot!) For now, I'm trying to ignore E-6 as it feels like it might be one ball too many to juggle. Agh! So little time! I'm praying Fuji don't pull the plug on any more E-6 before I even get there. One from earlier this year, HP5+, on a very stormy day.
