Abandoned Ford truck UK.

Leica MP with 28mm Elmarit V4 and Foma 400 film.

Foma 400 is indeed a lovely film - it looks like TRI-X used to. I rate it at box speed of ISO400 and dev it in D76 stock because I find that the grain is a bit too much if it's developed in diluted D76.

This was D76 for 8mins at 20 degrees C.

I also find that the "new" APX 100 aka Kentmere/Ilford 100 is also a very nice film that gives good high quality images and for me I dev it for 9mins in D76 stock again for grain size.

Paul superb b&w picture

Wonderful black and grey shade

So, after a financial hiccup which meant letting my M cameras and lenses go. I'm back with iiif and 50mm collapsable Summicron.

Lovely Trevor, nice timeless images.

What film and development?

Gary

Thanks Gary. Fuji Across. Ilfosol 3. 5minutes at 20degrees. The old Summicron has quite a bit of coating loss. These scanned up very flat. Significant contrast adjustment in Photoshop.

Thank you Trev.

Yes, the second shot looked a tad flat, but nice just the same.

Enjoy the new gear.

Last one.  I hate snakes.....  This street vendor surprised me when he started playing his flute behind my back.  When I turned around this is what I saw.  Needless to say, I moved on.
