Nice. The evening version is reminiscent of Holman Hunt's paintings made in the Holy Land.

Interesting comment. I would have thought that Holman Hunt is nearing obscurity. But his stuff is interesting. I remember his "Light of the World" with some affection. The one I have seen is in St Paul's.

another one from Santorini:

21522199704_79ccb9fa82_b.jpgSantorini on film by Dirk Raffel, auf Flickr

very interesting scene here.  The colors really comes through. What film?

The office lamp-looking thing looks totally out of place and as if it was "photoshopped" in.

And she seems to be clutching something for dear life in her left hand :)

Again, nice colors and selection of aperture...

Thank you. I've used a Ektar 100 film.

unfortunately I didn't had a screwdriver with me to remove the lamp  :)

I figured that it was Ektar given your other shots.  Aside from the woman's skin, the colors are spot on and I don't think could be topped by any film.  The woman's skin is, to me, only very slightly off with a slight orange skew.  On first impression I didn't even notice this and it even gave the photo a more of a classic look.  So I think it is really great for the sake of maximizing the rendition of the entire image I think the Ektar worked really well.

You don't need a screwdriver to remove the lamp :D

(I hope this isn't considered 'bad form' to modify a photo quickly and I hope it is taken in the sprit with which it was meant. If not, moderators, please delete this post...).

(Pretty crude bit of photoshopping as well... so apologies for that too... however, I think the point is made that you can alter pretty much anything to see how it looks and then if you like the result, take your time and do a proper job...).

When it's holiday photos and I've a few rolls I'd rather save myself the time by paying the extra £1.50 or £2 per roll (depending on the scan size I choose). At that price it's hardly worth warming up the Pakon F135+. :D
