Hood 12466 & M9 baseplate

Well, with the 12466-hood the camera stands exactly on its baseplate with the hood stabilising it in this position. Most other hoods let the camera nod down, some very large ones let it look upwards. To change the baseplate in order that the combination of camera, lens and hood looses its very quality, doesn't make any sens for me.

Hi and great! Very clarifying... and totally agree! Just nice to know before potentially paying the 350,- euro plus for this hood. THANKS!

Hi

it has been a while... However, I just wanted to make a very small comment. I quite coinsidentally got hold of the 12466 and I am happy about it... Is now used on both the Lux 35 pre-FLE and the 28 Cron. However, the hood do hit the surface before the entire baseplate rest on the surface. But then again, my " fear" that this over time will contribute to the lens starting to "rattle" is probably rather exaggerated.

The very best from Stein
