Iduna Posted March 21, 2013 Share #2 Posted March 21, 2013 Charlie, the soft subtle lines and creme colour are very fine. This is adding to the character very much.

topoxforddoc Posted March 22, 2013 Author Share #8 Posted March 22, 2013 Dear Iduna, Paul, Stuart, Karl, Platypus and George, Many thanks for your kind comments. Maybe I shall have to have some more goes at this sort of photography. I just love the way that the DMR renders the image at ISO100 - in many ways the DMR still provides a wonderful depth to the images. In some ways, I still prefer the rendition of the DMR to my M9. Best wishes, Charlie
dkCambridgeshire Posted March 22, 2013 Share #9 Posted March 22, 2013 The rose pic is beautiful. Elinchrom strobe ... Do you have the Ranger Quadra? I am considering getting one. dunk
topoxforddoc Posted March 22, 2013 Author Share #10 Posted March 22, 2013 Dunk, Thanks for your comments. I'm using older EL500 Classic heads. This was shot with a single EL500 head fired into a white brolly with a small reflector from below for fill in. I would love to get some Quadras, as they are very portable. But I seldom use flash of any sort, so it would not be worth my while. I just decided to get my strobes out last night for the first time in a while. This was the first series of shots. Best wishes, Chariie

onitsown Posted March 23, 2013 Share #12 Posted March 23, 2013 It's really pretty Charlie. I went into it even tighter on my screen and it looked terrific. A bit of a painted feel. Dean
