Hi,

Apologies for my last topic, didn't read the sticky topic stating not advertising for sale in this section.

I am trying to find out what these are, and what they're called.

I have absolutely no idea, and was hoping I could get some assistance.

A is a well known and not rare Leitz sport viewfinder : it seems to be the variant that had the product code ROSOL.

B is an accessory rangefinder, to be used with Leica cameras without coupled rangefinder (model I a/b/c/f,model "Standard"...) : its code is FOKOS ; it is not rare.

Right for A and B.

C is the compendium lens shade UZEOO attached to the UXOOR bellows.

And D is the said UXOOR bellows (mainly used with the Visoflex reflex housing).

Neither of these last two look like anything from the Leitz photographic range.

The first one, with two rails and a screwed rod, looks like a clamp or jig to be used in manufacturing or assembling some mechanical device. Its rough finish and the "hardware-store" quality nut and wingnut don't look like anything that was ever allowed to leave a Leitz workshop so it was probably made for some specific purpose in a machine shop somewhere, not necessarily for a Leica or even a photographic purpose. I can't think of a use for it in assembling or repairing a Leica camera, but maybe someone will recognise that it corresponds to a Leitz special tool.

The second photo could show two different tools, maybe mandrels or gauges of some kind (the two complex shapes) and two tommy bars for turning or holding them.

It might be interesting to know whether the screw thread and other dimensions are metric or imperial.

This second one is called a spanner it is used for un- screw rings, or screws with slots or holes or the heads or peripheries.

The first looks like a "lens vise" used for straightening bent filter rings, etc. The circular portion to the right is split so it can be spread apart, and force applied by the wing nut. The commercial version I have also has two sides for different size lenses.
