yoMammabot Posted March 28, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted March 28, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've just noticed as I was unpacking from our honeymoon in Hawaii that my 1.25x Magnifier lost its Rubber Eye Ring. I have heard that they can fall off, but i didn't believe the hype. I also can't find my little case for the Magnifier when not in use. Its usually on the camera strap but I took it off temporarily on the plane . Â Does anybody have an idea where I can pick up a replacement for both missing parts. Â thank you thank you for reading

B&W Posted March 28, 2007 Share #2  Posted March 28, 2007 Try your local Leica dealer - at least they can order you one  And yes it's easy too loose the rubber ring
albertknappmd Posted March 28, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted March 28, 2007 they certainly are prone to falling off. A design flaw that was never fixed.
BillBrittain Posted March 28, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted March 28, 2007 You should be congratulated for an intriguing thread title. Â You might have quite a wait. I've been waiting for months for the 1.25 magnifier to come available, and have finally ordered a copy from Hong Kong. If it does the job I suppose I won't need the Leica. Â The copies don't come with the nice case.
canlogic Posted March 28, 2007 Share #5 Â Posted March 28, 2007 The copies don't come with the nice case. Â Mine from HK supply came with a leather case.
cbretteville Posted March 28, 2007 Share #6 Â Posted March 28, 2007 I juts lost the rubber ring on mine. As I'm wearing glasses that means I can't use it. Had my Leica pusher order two replacement rings. That was three weeks ago.... Â - Carl
