billh Posted March 27, 2007 Share #8 Posted March 27, 2007 This has an almost primordial feeling or atmosphere. It is one of those images that just grabs me as soon as it appears on the monitor.

lincoln_m Posted March 27, 2007 Author Share #10 Posted March 27, 2007 Hi All, Thank you very much for the kind comments. This was my first time to Blea Tarn and I've been to Cumbria many many times. It is actually accessable via car down very narrow roads but the atmosphere there seems to define everything beautiful about the Lake District (Cumbria). The detail is almost lost on this small image but I will get a big 24x16 size print made. Is there some posterisation in the hills to the right? Or is it my laptop LCD screen setup? Regards, Lincoln
