Advertisement Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Hi cirke, Take a look here Micro lens pounch. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pedaes Posted January 2, 2013 Share #2 Â Posted January 2, 2013 I have a set of these and they are fine - very good soft pouches that take up less room in the bag than the leather Leica pouches. No hesitation in recommending. However, the sizing guide on the website is useless. They have used Leica measurements without caps, filters, hoods etc. and I would suggest going up at least one size, and two if you want the pouch to close fully with drawstring. kokoshawnuff Posted January 3, 2013 Share #4 Â Posted January 3, 2013 I've also tried every size, and like pedaes said, the sizes are all off. Buy one size up for your intended lens. The APO Telyt won't fit in any pouch, and I'm guessing the 90 Summicron wouldn't either.
Bill W Posted January 3, 2013 Share #5 Â Posted January 3, 2013 I like them, I might just order a medium and see how it fits all of my lens with hood and back cap.

Ecar Posted January 3, 2013 Share #7 Â Posted January 3, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) If you want extra flexibility, you may consider using a lens wrap. There are several brands. I use these: OP/TECH USA Soft Wraps

250swb Posted January 3, 2013 Share #9 Â Posted January 3, 2013 Lens wraps are a good idea. They are easy to use and in many cases one size does fit all (for Leica M lenses). They can also be used with other things that go in the camera bag, such as light meters, small flash guns etc. Â Steve
cirke Posted January 3, 2013 Author Share #10  Posted January 3, 2013 Happy New Year Erick. Where did you read that neoprene was dangerous for the lenses? I would like to read the article. Thanks. Lou Happy new year Louis  On a forum they were speaking about that, some neoprene or plastic or tissue of poor quality can be dangerous for lenses but on the forum you cannot 100% trust in what is said  I have ordered 6 micro lens pouch
250swb Posted January 3, 2013 Share #11  Posted January 3, 2013 On a forum they were speaking about that, some neoprene or plastic or tissue of poor quality can be dangerous for lenses  Well that damns just about every man made synthetic polymer.  But neoprene is a product well known for its chemical stability and inert qualities. Which is why it can be used in direct contact with human skin, and is particularly good for use in all sorts of delicate applications. This is why Leica can sell you a neoprene case for your camera and lens.  Steve
tobey bilek Posted January 3, 2013 Share #12 Â Posted January 3, 2013 Make a bag from worn sweat shirt or ultra swede material or old flannel shirt or flannel bed sheets. Â A bag is the most simple sewing project possible. Extra wide and deep and you drop the lens in and roll it up. Â Any of these are better than materials that may out gas over time and screw up the inside of lenses. Cost is zip
kokoshawnuff Posted January 4, 2013 Share #13  Posted January 4, 2013 Domke also makes Velcro wraps in three sizes and different colors  http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/16156-REG/Domke_722_11B_11x11_Color_Coded_Protective.html
erl Posted January 4, 2013 Share #14 Â Posted January 4, 2013 If you travel internationally by air, most airlines issue 'sleeping socks' which I save for wrapping lenses in to insert in non padded pockets of my Billingham. Â The beauty is that ANY of my lenses will fit. Probably the truest example of "one size fits all" as there is no heel built in!
