newnew Posted December 10, 2012 Author Share #4 Â Posted December 10, 2012 Bill, thanks for the comment. You are right the balance is out but I have not corrected on purpose. I find it more "Fairy tale" and X-mas atmospheric that way. Newnew

pauledell Posted December 11, 2012 Share #6 Â Posted December 11, 2012 While your white balance is noticeably off, at least it gives the warm holiday feeling. Â Paul
melissah Posted December 11, 2012 Share #7 Â Posted December 11, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm not a fan of what you did w the white balance. I understand you pushed it for artistic reasons, but, it doesn't work for me. I'd be interested to see you convert this exact rendition to B/W. it's a good image.. I don't want to be blinded by the saturation ect
newnew Posted December 11, 2012 Author Share #8 Â Posted December 11, 2012 Here is one where I did my best (under travel conditions I do not have a good monitor) to get the White Balance for a more reasonable place. Comments welcome. Also , (although I find it difficult to render a Candy athmosphere in B&W) an attempt to B&W. There is obviously some loss of quality due to resizing for this forum.
