wellyau Posted December 10, 2012 Share #1 Posted December 10, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello! Have just signed up to the forum as I shall very shortly be the proud owner of a Leica M6 that I've exchanged for my Fuji X Pro 1. I've simply lost any desire to shoot digital and the opportunity to get hold of a Leica came up - I couldn't miss out on it! I've never shot a Leica before but am very excited about the prospect. Will look forward to sharing a few shots with you guys over the coming months. Cheers! Welly

wellyau Posted December 10, 2012 Author Share #6 Posted December 10, 2012 Welcome. Are you a new convert or have you used film before? What lens/lenses are you getting? Kind of both! I've been shooting 4x5 and 8x10 large format film for a number of years but always had a digital camera of some description to use for everything else. However, I've been feeling very disillusioned with digital photography and find it often to be more of a chore than it should be. And besides, I like the look of film and enjoy the process of developing film! The camera will come with a Voigtlander 50mm f1.5 which I understand to be a decent enough lens. I'll plan to pick up something a bit wider too eventually, a 28mm would be good! Cheers!

You know that you are near one of the country's best master B&W printers - Chris Reid His work is outstanding and he does a lot of top exhibition work. You can also hire darkroom time. http://www.blanconegro.com.au/ Regards, Mark
