The 1935 Leica Oleyo, shot with a 1935 Summar on the Mono V-II at F6.3. I just got this lens. It is exceptionally clean (the glass) and I am surprised by how sharp it is.

I have no idea what I am looking at here but I love it.

The Leica Oleyo was produced in 1935 as a single shot camera. It consists of a house with milk glass focusing screen and an ibson shutter. Short strips of 35mm film could be placed in separate metal containers for separate exposures. It worked with several lenses. In this case a regular 50mm elmar. The idea was that this was a cheap 'second body' to carry around. It is extremely unpractical, but a fun piece for your desktop. There is a listing on this forum somewhere that shows the three varieties that existed.

This 35mm Summicron V1 1960 has quickly become my favorite lens on the MM. I find the goggles provide more accurate framing than the 35mm frame lines in the camera. The lens is small and unobtrusive, very sharp, has good contrast and no distortion. For my shooting, it is the perfect lens on the Monochrom. I notice others here also enjoy using theirs.
