Baybers Posted November 29, 2012 Share #1 Posted November 29, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm hoping someone may be able to help me to find a replacement front round rangefinder window for my 1933 Leica 111. I was out shooting yesterday and the window must have been loose and fallen off. The window is the one closest to the rewind knob. I live in Australia and the national distributor is not confident of getting the part for such an old camera. I have rung other repairers in Australia without success. DAG Cameras in the U.S. have a black version, but as my camera is the nickle version I would like to get the nickle version if possible. Apparently, 111c and 111f windows are not the same as the window for the 111. If you are able to give me a lead, I would be most grateful.

farnz Posted December 2, 2012 Share #4 Posted December 2, 2012 eBay seller Tonaya has a large collection of unusual spare parts for sale so it's worth looking through his "items for sale" listing because items don't always have accurate descriptions. He currently has 640 items - 90% Leica - in his 'items for sale' and searching on "111" in his items for sale yields 87 items. It might take a little time but I've occasionally noticed the odd gem for sale and there are less enjoyable things to be doing than trawling through Leica spares. For full disclosure: I have no connection with this seller or his goods and I have never dealt with him. Pete.
