Advertisement Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Hi Stealth3kpl, Take a look here What's up with my Diffuse Glow. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted October 25, 2012 Share #2 Posted October 25, 2012 I'm not going to register elsewhere to see the examples. Sorry. Post them, and the question here and we can help.
Stealth3kpl Posted October 25, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted October 25, 2012 (edited) For some reason my CS4 Diffuse Glow is giving me this effect: rather than this: It didn't used to. What could have changed? I've tried reinstalling (without uninstalling) but no change. It seems to be having the inverse effect. Guest WPalank Posted October 27, 2012 Share #4 Posted October 27, 2012 I left a reply on your other post in RFF. download the 15 day free trial of Nikk software's Color Efex Pro 4. There are lots of filters in the set that can create that sort of look. If you decide to buy, as you may fall in love with them as I, you can use the discount code WPALANK at check-out. Stealth3kpl Posted October 28, 2012 Author Share #5 Posted October 28, 2012 Thanks. I do have Nikon NX2 and Color efex 2. I don't particularly want to use software, I would just like my Photoshop to work normally. I may remove it from my system then load it again. Thanks for the offer though. Guest WPalank Posted October 28, 2012 Share #6 Posted October 28, 2012 Sure Pete. But to be clear, Photshop is Software. Nik Products are Plug-Ins. They are not stand alone products. You probably mean External Editors although the Glow thing is a External Editor as well. Just like the Plug-Ins, an External Editor takes you out to another box and then you hit OK, just like your Glow thing. I know, everyone is different and keep doing what you are doing. Stealth3kpl Posted November 2, 2012 Author Share #7 Posted November 2, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) My Nikon Capture NX2 is stand-alone, and the Color Efex 2 is a plugin in the NX2. I don't use either now really since returning to film and getting CS4. Pete
