Leonardo_alves Posted October 22, 2012 Share #10 Posted October 22, 2012 Nice pictures and development! I really enjoy the second ... If possible, please can you share how you develop HP5 @ 3200 (process of agitation, developer, time, dilution and temperature)? I tried It once with HC110 and the result was not so good... Cheers, Leonardo
Frank Sellitto Posted October 22, 2012 Author Share #11 Posted October 22, 2012 (edited) Hi Leonardo, Thanks for commenting. Both images shot wide opened @ 1.4 and temperature @ 68 degrees A good starting point: HP5 @3200-1600ISO/1/30 1/15 sec. 20 min. @ normal development and agitation every 60 sec. I found reducing dev time to 17 min to help with blown highlights so you may need to find what works best for you. It's not an exact science...experiment with a few rolls...it's worth it. I use Ilford DD-x 1:4; water stop bath and Ilford rapid fixer....nice and easy. Hope this helps Edited October 22, 2012 by FrankSellitto

But It´s good to know that you can obtain this development result using N-1 and your specification... I really liked what you obtained in these images... cheers, Leonardo
