Hi Henry,

Many thanks for showing your system. A very nice setup indeed.

I understand your Elmar 135/(4?) is very similar in performance to the Tele-Elmar 135/4 that I have.

But it takes different tubes. If that's correct, you seem to have on there the 16471 and 16472 adapter tubes.

That should allow you to get real nice close-ups, as your image shows.

I can't use my 16472, but I have two 16471 that fit my lens head.

Thanks again.

I like the tele-elmar a bit better for the rendering but I can get bigger with the Elmar and the tubes. I bought a lot of Visoflex gear before it got popular (expensive) with the M8. Still haven't explored all the permutations and possibilities of all the stuff I have in my box.

Thanks for looking.

Scary, both the picture and the contraption used to take it:D

Only just realized that the imminent launch of the M implies that there will be more macro and long photography on display. Considering the talent we have here (see above) that should be fun.

I guess Leica needs to introduce the bellows again, the M visoflex contraption.

The new M is going to make macro a lot simpler but I really love the 'charm' of the crazy Visoflex set-up.
