Advertisement Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Hi elansprint72, Take a look here Wasdale Farm. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pemayeux Posted March 14, 2007 Share #2 Posted March 14, 2007 Nice shot Pete. You are getting some very nice shots out to the D2. Are these shot raw and converted or b&w. Great tonal range. I envy the landscapes you have access to. Beautiful.
elansprint72 Posted March 14, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted March 14, 2007 Paul, I'm not clever enough to use RAW, I just shoot in high-qual jpeg and convert to B&W in PSE4. I respect the D2 more and more, it is so versatile. In fact, I'm considering looking for another as a keeper-in-the-cupboard for my dotage. Thanks. andybarton Posted March 14, 2007 Share #4 Posted March 14, 2007 You should try RAW, Pete. The difference is there to be seen, even on the web. There is a reason why they include it on the menu, you know
stuny Posted March 14, 2007 Share #5 Posted March 14, 2007 Pete - Very well seen and executed. The dominant hills backuing up to the farm lend an appealign sense of smallness to the human enterprise.
azzo Posted March 14, 2007 Share #6 Posted March 14, 2007 Pete, Another 10/10. The beautiful light, composition and full tonality this image has, is excellent. Well Done. Azzo

elansprint72 Posted March 15, 2007 Author Share #11 Posted March 15, 2007 Thanks for the very kind words folks. I feel sort of guilty taking any credit for the composition here- all I did was moved left or right a bit until the tree fell into the right place; all the rest was down to "other forces"! But then, that is what it is all about, I suppose.
