algrove Posted September 7, 2012 Share #63 Posted September 7, 2012 I am traveling with my MM. Tonight showed an image taken with the MM to my wife on my 11" Air in jpeg as I do not want to download LR4 nor Silver EFEX pro to this notebook as yet. The first words out of her mouth when first seeing an image shot with the MM was "Wow, that is much sharper than your other B&W images." The lens was the same 35 FLE used with my M9 for one year. That told me all I needed to hear. I can post some OOC jpegs, but I guess many not impressed with jpegs on internet.
geotrupede Posted September 10, 2012 Share #64 Posted September 10, 2012 I agree that there is a shadow around the column. Perhaps it is one side effect of using highlights recovery? If not it is definitely something that happens in the camera or in the lens... G Welcome, dear visitor!
