J-C,

A fantastic shot with the framing of the lion in the bush, the colors and clarity. I imagine you were near your truck when you photographed that.

J-C - Excellent.

Paul - When you're inside your vehicles (even open ones) if you're realtively quiet and don't move around too much the lions perceive you as part of the vehicle.

It always amazes me that in Africa you could stumble on to such a cat hiding in the bushes.

For all their majesty I am glad we don't have them here in Australia. We have enough surprises with snakes, spiders, crocodiles and sharks...

Unexpectedly a nasty type of native jumping Ant is responsible for more deaths than any of those other beasties...

J-C,

Nice shot, but it was shot in the Addo Elephant Park? I didn't realise that there were lions. That is probably the reason that I was not allowed to replace the flat tyre by myself.

Marc, there is a healthy pride in Addo for quite some time now. Therefor the big signs: "DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES"

Better one obeys :)
