ddp Posted March 10, 2007 Share #4 Posted March 10, 2007 Brent - it is my belief that a young photographer can benefit more from a roll of a tri-x, a Pentax K1000 and 50mm lens than any digital offering out there today. In fact, I felt the same 15 years ago as well. Manual focus and a simple matched needle meter inside the camera allows for concentration on the image & composition as opposed to all the bells & whistles on the fancy stuff.
