Typically the day after I get the camera I get ill so have not been able to get out much but I have still managed a few shots here and there. Can't wait to try it with some decent light and a bit of colour!

jenniferx, Welcome to the forum and X2 ownership. I still use my X1, bought new at launch.

 

Reference your explanation above; to the contrary; A domestic domain and unlikely weather present an excellent starting point to get to know a new camera. Practise shooting the familiar and you will be better prepared for future travels with your X.

Thank you. David, quite! I suspect I may have the best documented kitchen taps and houseplants that ever were...

 

Having read so much about it in advance it has been interesting/fun to compare to my own early experiences (and especially with the Fuji x100 that I have owned for six years- alas that is for another thread!).
