leicamann Posted May 15, 2012 Share #1 Â Posted May 15, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) For those who are or get sick of poppies, fear not.. the Iris are coming soon. Â I just love the colour and take the opportunity to paint with it. Â Thanks for looking..and I might add that when reduced for the browser, we are losing a few degrees of the richness of the colour, I believe HTML 5 will help us in that regard. HeinzX Posted May 16, 2012 Share #9 Â Posted May 16, 2012 Very fine picture, colors as well as proportion sharpness/bokeh and entire composition. Outcome of further processing i.e. with Alien Snap Art could be interesting too.

Bill Allsopp Posted May 17, 2012 Share #11 Â Posted May 17, 2012 I do like the "softness" of this. Very delicate.
leicamann Posted May 17, 2012 Author Share #12 Â Posted May 17, 2012 Thanks Bill, indeed that was part of the idea. a difficult balance between getting delicacy and sharpness, I wait for a very specific time and specific light, if it doesn't happen, then wait for another day. lm_user Posted May 22, 2012 Share #19 Â Posted May 22, 2012 I am still thinking about your photo. How did you create this image? More details please. It is lovely.
leicamann Posted May 22, 2012 Author Share #20 Â Posted May 22, 2012 Well with right equipment .. in this case the R9 +DMR+ R 100mm Macro Elmar F4.0 using the "Bellows and Rail " system. Â The photo was a matter of timing and proper framing. Then waiting for the exact light conditions to emerge so that the "light" highlighted what I wanted and the properties of the camera did the rest. Thats all and of course making sure the image was captured in RAW. Â Cheers, JRM
