Gordon No polariser used, just a tripod and a cable release. I suspect that most Leica M's don't get much use in the 1/2s to 8 sec range, but IMO these speeds are just as valid as the fast speeds. It's an excellent hand held camera, but for the traveller it has the capability to produce images that push 35mm as hard as it can go for any shooting situation.
