andym911 Posted April 22, 2012 Share #1 Posted April 22, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) After my TMax thread here a different film, same developer.. Two different lighting situations and I think it has a very smooth feel to it...what do you think? Shot with an older 50 Lux at f2 and f8 respectively and 6 minutes in dilution B. I prefer the look over TMax....need to see how it prints though. andy Welcome, dear visitor! Michael Hiles Posted April 22, 2012 Share #4 Posted April 22, 2012 Lovely pictures. In addition, I like the "look" - long tonal scale, deep shadow details, lots in the highlights. Exactly what I think B&W technique should produce. Clearly Delta 100 does well in HC110.
andym911 Posted April 22, 2012 Author Share #5 Posted April 22, 2012 Michael thanks for your feedback....when looking at full size crops the detail and lack of grain is quite excellent....my lowly scanner seems to like this film. best andy

jneilt Posted April 23, 2012 Share #9 Posted April 23, 2012 wow...very nice. I love to see results like this from a flatbed. What software did you scan with?
andym911 Posted April 23, 2012 Author Share #10 Posted April 23, 2012 Standard epson scan software.. I do not rate 3rd party such as silverfast as they are over complicated IMO . Thanks for your comments Andy
robert blu Posted April 24, 2012 Share #11 Posted April 24, 2012 I am a delta user and I like very much your results. I'll give a try with the HC 110. Thanks for posting. robert

tobey bilek Posted April 25, 2012 Share #13 Posted April 25, 2012 Delta has more character, T Max is more of a clinical look. If you want smooth, D76 will do better, smoother still if you do not dilute it . Develop stock. If it scans well, it will print well. The reverse is sometimes a problem. Messsucherkamera Posted June 12, 2012 Share #17 Posted June 12, 2012 It's been over a decade since I last used Delta 100; these images are just beautiful. So much so that they make me want to order some Delta 100 and so.e HC 110. Images like these reaffirm the reasons why I am 100% film based.
