You don't want one. You actually need it, I'm sure.;)

Yes, it's heavy, expensive, has a long focus throw, fringing, some focus shift, etc.

But that's a small price to pay for the pleasure of feeling your jaw drop when you get the picture right.

If you get one, sending it to Solms for a CLA is worth the expense to ensure it's perfectly calibrated.

I'm really surprised that buildings that old are still standing after the city being so devastated during WWII. :)

The city of Munich was destroyed for about 97%.

The most important historic buildings were rebuilt again after the bombing of Munich.

 

In 1945 the Munich Frauenkirche looked like this:
