There has been a silver Summicron 28 (# 11661) but the latter is not made any more and there is still a silver Elmarit 28 (# 11666) but it is a special edition version AFAIK. FYI, my silver chrome 90 Elmarit-M is a wonderful lens, and I especially enjoy the slide out lens hood, which is heavier and just feels more solid than the one on the black anodized lens. Of course the important thing is that the performance of both lenses is exactly the same.

The 11661 silver anodized has been discontinued in 2010.

Come to think about it, the Summicron-M 2/90 AA was also available in chrome. Cheers, Andy
