Recommended Posts

Here is one here, very beautiful, whose sale finishes the 11/12 :

LEICA ELPRO-D E69 Nahlinse (close-up lens) für LEICA Digilux 2 | eBay

The salesman also sells such a beautiful D2 :

Leica Digilux 2 mit 5.0 MP Digitalkamera - Schwarz-Silber (4022243182646) | eBay

A nice gift of Christmas in prospect…:)

Yes, it is very expensive ! But it was quite new..

I bought my Elpro-D, as new, for 250 € one month ago.

Here is another here:

The Canon D500 close-up lens with a 77 mm step-up is as good as the Leica Elpro and can often be picked up considerably cheaper.

I had a lens Canon 250D 4X which grows bigger twice that the 500D but it was in diameter 58 mm.

Very good quality but that produced much vignettage to short the focal distances.

The ELPRO-D is excellent in its total quality and as regards enlargement and of the vignettage it is it also.

I had no vignetting with the 77 mm on the D2.

In 77 mm it is very normal !

But close up Canon 500 D grows bigger twice less than the 250D (4X) and I had this last in 58 mm, from where vignettage.

Elpro-D has a very good enlargement (16 cm X 21 cm to 28 mm and 6 cm X 8 cm to 90 mm), no vignettage produces and has an excellent quality.

Its price is certainly dissuasive, but when we love…:)

Remember, the ELPRO is a cemented achromat. The Panasonic was just a single-element close-up lens.

(Don't know about the Canon close-up lenses mentioned above.)

The close-up Canon 250D (4X) which I had right before Elpro-D was composed of two stuck lenses.

Even in only 58 mm, the weight was already consequent and the optical result really very good.
