Swisi Posted November 18, 2011 Share #1 Posted November 18, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello I'm new here! So, my question: I'll buy a Leica D.R.P Ernst Leitz Wetzlar, N°209457. (I don't know something about the lens...) What is a correct value for this camera?
Advertisement Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Hi Swisi, Take a look here Correct value: Leica DRP Ernst Leitz Wetzlar. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted November 18, 2011 Share #2 Posted November 18, 2011 Sorry - we don't do numbers, as we don't know about the camera. In fact it can vary from 50 Euro for a basket case to 120.000 Euro for a super-duper collectors item with provenance. But if you look through e-Bay and other sales sites you'll find out about prices paid.

a.noctilux Posted November 19, 2011 Share #7 Posted November 19, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, From the serial number it's a Leica III of 1936. If it was not modified, do a search for "Leica III" or Model F. Arnaud

reynoldsyoung Posted March 11, 2013 Share #15 Posted March 11, 2013 My Leica history, sadly, does not extend beyond the M8. A good friend brought me this camera thinking I knew a lot more than I do about the line of great machines. Would anyone bother to give me some direction concerning his DRP and how I might establish it's history and value for him? DSC00682 | Flickr - Photo Sharing! DSC00683 | Flickr - Photo Sharing! Many thanks for any assistance!!
earleygallery Posted March 11, 2013 Share #16 Posted March 11, 2013 Follow the links above. There are also links in this forum to look up the serial numbers. Value? From 100 euros up depending on condition and functionality of camera and lens. Impossible to say more without personally inspecting them. The Summar can be worth a decent amount if it's in spotless condition, but few are.
