Cathedral Church of St Peter, St Paul and St Andrew , Peterborough UK.

Taken with a Leica X1 at dusk 2 November 2011. I climbed a parapet in the Cathedral Precincts and held the X1 as high above my head as possible in order to squeeze the West Front into the frame ... and then cropped the foreground.

ISO 800, f2.8 1/13sec., Auto White Balance

A few more taken on the same evening using my Leica X1:

Firstly, The Guildhall , Cathedral Square Peterborough at dusk. This has been cropped to exclude surrounding buildings and pedestrian traffic.

Half an hour later the fountains are illuminated - difficult photos - I need to try again with a tripod and smaller aperture - these are again taken with the X1 handheld above my head

And this shows some of the detail of Peterborough Cathedral West Front floodlit at dusk.

Dunk -

These are all lovely. What's that white patch in the lower left of #1?

I think you are referring to the square shaped white faced sundial :)
