JE Posted February 18, 2007 Share #3 Posted February 18, 2007 Beautiful. The boulder looks like something once living washed up on shore. The sky, too, is well captured, the difference from left to right.
zanydave Posted February 18, 2007 Share #4 Posted February 18, 2007 Beautiful dreamlike image. When I grow up I'm gonna take shots like this Dave
dotandcom Posted February 18, 2007 Share #5 Posted February 18, 2007 OK, Rolo, I think I get the reference: first posting by soon-to-be-jet-setter-but-don't-worry-I'm-still-the-same-old-Rolo? Well, I doubt that I am alone in being relieved as well as delighted to see another Rolo classic. I always learn something from you, in this case what is possible with what looks to have been a very unpromising sky. Hold on a minute, though. Perhaps you are hinting that you now find yourself between a rock and a hard place? All the best to you, Chris

beramos Posted February 19, 2007 Share #10 Posted February 19, 2007 Rolo, I understand because you are in "the theater of dreams". It will not be Old Trafford? This shot transfers to me in the time and space. Simply Superb.
ctb Posted February 19, 2007 Share #11 Posted February 19, 2007 In the words of the great Murray Walker - Unless I am very much mistaken - this photo is Castle Stalker just up the road from me at Appin, built in 1446. A wonderfully atmospheric photo. Well done.
abrewer Posted February 20, 2007 Share #12 Posted February 20, 2007 Superb Rolo. One of the best images we've had the pleasure of viewing here in a long, long time. Thanks for sharing. Allan

Peter41951 Posted February 20, 2007 Share #14 Posted February 20, 2007 The widescreen shape of the image is wonderful! Lovely toning, too, and tonal range. The rock, which looks slightly like the profile of a lion, dwarfing the castle, gives a great 3D effect!
wilfredo Posted February 21, 2007 Share #15 Posted February 21, 2007 Is this a place where celtic dreams intersect reality? I love the mystical feel of this photograph. Another great one Rolo. Cheers, Wilfredo+ Benitez-Rivera Photography
