fotografr Posted July 16, 2006 Share #4 Posted July 16, 2006 Excellent composition to just catch the peaks of the arches. Also nice use of light.
gareth_c Posted July 16, 2006 Share #5 Posted July 16, 2006 Yes, agreed with the above comments, a great composition.
Guest menze_as Posted July 17, 2006 Share #6 Posted July 17, 2006 Hi John, nice scene: the boy alone in the huge cathedral. Technically I think the photo too plain. I would expand the tone range, and I would correct colours, put out some yellow and magenta. You might then even get out some pattern of lines in the window. elmarman Posted July 17, 2006 Share #8 Posted July 17, 2006 Agree with the others about the composition, use of space etc. but could you not have darkened in the window a little as the eye sees that area first and the altar boy last.
jmr Posted July 23, 2006 Author Share #9 Posted July 23, 2006 Thanks for the feedback everyone, unfortunately the windows are completely blown; the interior was rather dark. The colours are the closest I could get to those I remembered seeing at the time. Thanks again.
