NZDavid Posted December 13, 2011 Share #21  Posted December 13, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've used a 2.8/28 Elmarit but swapped it a few years ago for a 2.8/24 Elmarit ASPH -- a superb lens. I have used external finders for both lenses and don't mind them a bit. I wear glasses. I agree with Hoppyman, above, that the Voigtländer finders are pretty good, and they are more economical.  As part of my ongoing aim to think in angles of view not just focal lengths, it's worth noting:  24mm = 84º 28mm = 76º 35mm = 64º  Those few millimeters can make a significant difference at the wide end.  I don't think you would go wrong with any of these lenses, but for landscapes and environmental portraits, unless you really want to go wide, I'm thinking the 35 would be the story.
