For sure "feel" and familiarity, subjective preference and just plain old fun are always good reasons to choose an M8. Or any rangefinder. I am, however, a little disappointed at the number of posters who would summarily dismiss an entire camera system based on looks, brandsnobbery or sentimentality. Tsk tsk!
