Advertisement Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 Hi fotografr, Take a look here Grafitti . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
mgcd Posted July 15, 2006 Share #2 Posted July 15, 2006 You must have stepped into a time machine! She looks like she's from a vintage 1920's print or even 1900's for that matter. I really like this image which evokes notions of pictorialism. The message on the grafitti itself is interesting enough but her expression and boby language really complete the whole. Very nicely done.
dan_drabek Posted July 15, 2006 Share #3 Posted July 15, 2006 Well, this is wonderful Brent. Has a look of a Pre-Raphaelite painting. One of the nicest single shots I've seen on the forum. It would make a beautiful illustration for a story. I don't know how much Photoshopping has been done on this, but it doesn't matter. It works on every level. I'm sure this one will get a lot of comments. DD

lambroving Posted July 16, 2006 Share #6 Posted July 16, 2006 Brent, Well, if you didn't pose it, that's the all-time catch! When all the comments are done, you'll have to tell us the story. Personally I like the expression, body-language and light, but I'm wild about the framing. Over to you...

stuny Posted July 16, 2006 Share #9 Posted July 16, 2006 Brent - All the above, plus the mystery of the stockinged feet, and seductive shawl.
andybarton Posted July 16, 2006 Share #10 Posted July 16, 2006 Laddered stockinged feet, too.. The viewer has no idea whether this girl has any connection with the graffitti, which makes it all the more puzzling.

fotografr Posted July 17, 2006 Author Share #16 Posted July 17, 2006 Thanks for your comments. This photo was created in the studio for a poster to advertise a stage production. I worked with a couple of people who are masters at set design and construction. I think they did such a good job it's hard to tell if this is a real street scene or not. It was their talent that makes the shot work.
