based on my short experience with a russian MTO 500 mirror lens, i tended to put mirror lenses in the categories of "special", "extreme compression", or just "fun for occasional use".

 

i'll have to change my perception. the nikon mirror, in the right setup (and hands) is capable of far more. :)
