If firms like Uncle Mike's ( Uncle Mikes - The Leader in Shooting Accessories ) can make 'real' holsters out of durable woven nylon materials that are kind to the relatively delicate finish of a blued pistol, maybe it's time for some photographic entrepreneur to give some thought to the idea for the Leica or other 'traditionally' shaped cameras. Â Just think, we could have hi-ride belt models or thigh mounted lo-carry Leicaholsters with quick-release safety straps - or even concealed-carry models for 'street shooters' All for less than USD 50. Victor Chen, owner, was wonderful and spent lots of time showing us the entire product lineup. The holsters are very well made, with high quality leather and robust stitching. Both versions, the WWII Reporter (brown) and Hektor (black) models were extreme tight fitting and took some effort to get an M9 inserted, however this will probably get easier as the leather stretches out. The black leather of the Hektor model is softer and more pliable that the brown, saddle leather of the WWII Reporter. The strap is comfortable and can be easily adjusted. While interesting I just couldn't see myself walking around with this thing draped over my shoulder. Also my wife said I looked like a dork and she would not be seen with me if I wore this thing...score one for fashion.  I did purchase one of the Wotancraft "Scout" model bags, which really impressed me with the leather, waxed canvas construction, basic padding, and removable, zippered insert for even more protection.  Welcome, dear visitor! Like some of the other posters here, I just wind the strap around my wrist or throw the camera strap over my shoulder. I carry spare lens(s) and accessory stuff in pockets. No Bag.
