wilfredo Posted July 6, 2011 Share #1 Posted July 6, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Has anyone used this for noise reduction with their digital Leicas? Any thoughts? I don't use LR, only PSCS4 and wondering if this would be worth it?
Advertisement Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Hi wilfredo, Take a look here LR3 and Super Noise Reduction. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wda Posted July 6, 2011 Share #2 Posted July 6, 2011 Wilfredo, yes; occasionally. Before LR3 which, incidentally, has transformed my digital files, I used Noise Ninja which is excellent. For convenience I now find that LR does the trick for those few files which suffer from noise.
jaapv Posted July 6, 2011 Share #3 Posted July 6, 2011 You could also upgrade to CS5, the raw converter and noise reduction is identical to LR3
vdb Posted July 6, 2011 Share #4 Posted July 6, 2011 Yes Wilfredo, the noise reduction in LR3 is worth the price alone. Strongly recommend it.
