The Barnack's Monthly theme for July is: Black and White.

This means any subject to do with black and white. For example, a photo of a zebra, a zebra crossing, a panda, a black and white photo (monochrome), a white cat in a coal cellar, a black dog in the snow etc. Including colour is okay as are shades of grey but remember that the theme is black and white.:p

Everybody's welcome to contribute, any interpretation, any number of posts, any equipment as long as it and the photo complies with the forum's rules. Please post freely - especially newcomers - there's no judging in this thread!

Pete.

The first one is a tray of ash trays, rather, 'ash cups'. They were filled with yellow polenta grains (corn). I decided to take a low angle just showing the contrast of the cups against the back wall. Restaurant entrance, Florence, V. della Rossa.

35 mm or 40 mm

The second one is the church San Miniato al Monte in Florence, famous for the contrasting, Toscane style, facade.

28 mm

The third one is a play with the Light Of The World. (Firenze, degli Innocenti).

40 mm

I add a little paragraph: this whole world is consists a layer of images of a reality of a magic spectacle - the objects are dependent on our knowledge, and beyond that our world is empty. (free after Vijnana Bhairava Agama)

Enjoy

I appreciate protesters because they have so much more gumption than I do.
