edtpm Posted February 7, 2007 Share #1 Posted February 7, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, Please let me know which one is better. One is the original pictures and the other was enhanced by Picasa in sharpness.

stuny Posted February 7, 2007 Share #6 Posted February 7, 2007 Erwin - I prefer the second in each pair for their sharpness, which also adds a 3D effect against the nice background bokeh.
ECliffordSmith Posted February 7, 2007 Share #7 Posted February 7, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Erwin, I agree with Stuart. The second image is better in each pair. Very nice by the way!

wda Posted February 7, 2007 Share #9 Posted February 7, 2007 Interesting comparisons. Does Picaso work happily alongside other similar programmes such as Photoshop CS2 and Bridge? I ask because I have found that my extensive use of iViewMedia Pro runs foul of my disc burning Roxio which impregnates off-line catalogue entries set up by IVMP. I know this sounds complicated but it can cause problems. I have disabled some of the cataloguing features of Roxio (which I did not want anyway) in the hope that interference will cease. Please forgive me if I have strayed off course in this thread but the principles are of wider interest. Any views anyone? David
