ECliffordSmith Posted February 4, 2007 Share #1 Posted February 4, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi All, Here is a series I took early yesterday morning of a chilly, misty dawn in northern Belgium close to the border with Holland. All images were taken with a D-Lux 2. Any comments and advice is always welcome. Thank you for looking.

azzo Posted February 4, 2007 Share #2 Posted February 4, 2007 Nice set of images Edward. I particularly like No1. Maybe, you should try getting slightly more detail in the foreground. Am sure that this image will also work very nicely in b&w . Azzo
stuny Posted February 4, 2007 Share #3 Posted February 4, 2007 edward - Terrific moodiness. I very much like the subtle colors and shadings (Ivan is probably right about B&W). Part of the success of the first three is the depth emphasised by including sharp (or sharp enough) details in the foreground, leading the eye into the great depths. Though #4 has the thickest and most eeire mist it is not quite up to the other three photos because of the lack of near lens reference (which frames the shot, too). jmr Posted February 4, 2007 Share #5 Posted February 4, 2007 Ed, very atmospheric. I love the cool, dawn light in the first and third shots especially.
