Sports photography, and wild life of course, from very close ;)

My goal in terms of Leica is to be in a very pleasant financial situation just that day Leica launches a digital FF camera system that makes this possible.:D:D

No Leica-specific goals, really. But I'm at a crossroad in my creative life, trying to sort out why I do photography and where I hope to take it. It's in my blood and I like what I've done so far. But the old ways no longer satisfy, and I don't know what's next. Sorry to be so sober, but you asked....

I want to own the most expensive high status camera and lenses possible.

Then I want to buy a very expensive English canvas bag for it. I then want to put my camera in a very expensive hand-tooled Italian case made of Corinthian leather.

I want to leave the plastic on the bottom of the camera so it never gets scratched.

Then I want to take a couple of dozen test pictures of a chart and maybe of a wall, and send my camera and lenses to Solms four or five times because there might be a tiny focus error that I am not sure I can see.

I also want to send my camera to Solms to have the sensor cleaned every month.

I want to carry my camera, in the bag, and in the case, everywhere. Once in a while I might want to take a picture, in which case I will buy a new SD card because I don't know how to transfer the photos to my computer, which I don't know how to use.

When I am not carrying my camera or having it adjusted, I want to post as much as possible on forums.

M. Valdemar, at first I thought your reply above was very funny and witty. Then I didn't see a smiley face or anything to make light of what you wrote. Are you serious or mad, maybe even upset with newbies? :-(

There is no problem, it might be a goal, *might*, for someone who starts fresh into M photography coming from 10 years of Canon, as the thread starter informs us. If this is a picture you took from 1-3 meters, this is obviously not a goal for you Jaap, compliments!

A bit further than that. It was 800 mm on the Visoflex ;)

Oh come on, you may decide for yourself as a reader, a writer doesn't own his writings, it's a text: use it or loose it

To find the perfect camera bag for my M system.

I don’t care about camera bags, my assistant carries everything!:D
