Hi Michael. Yes, with their gloomy weather.

This Brit may take offence at that, English weather is perfect.  :D

Right now I'm trying to come up with a list of coastal towns that have changed their name within the last millennium or so. Is this town on the south coast?

Hello Wally,

It would appear that the entire Planet has fallen asleep. Do you think that it might be a case of Mass Leprchaunitis?

Which, if I remember correctly: Is a disease that sometimes afflicts people who are searching the Coastal areas of Southern Ireland.

Best Regards,

Michael

Correct. Previous to 1920 when changed by the Irish Free State it was known as Queenstown. It was the final port of call for the RMS Titanic and it was here that the victims and survivors of the RMS Lusitania were brought after it was torpedoed about 12 miles off the Irish coast.

Your turn to give us a new location.

It also happens to be where my Great Great Grandfather emigrated from.

I think this one will be easy, name the City.
