How about this one. Given the topography is pretty much a giveaway, let's go for the town...

Just discovered the game. Seems funny.

My first entry (not from above) will be very easy, since it is identified by the indication of the exact distance from Tombouctou : 52 days...:D Where did we encounter this "panel" ?

Pecole,

Thank you. The idea is, that you can only show a photo once you have guessed the correct spot the previous photo represents. And the thread is called "from above" as only photos from above can be posed as a riddle.

Kind regards,

Lars

OK, Iarsv! sorry, I didn't know the rules of the game. But about the "world from above", I noticed quite a number of level photos, so what?

Now about the Toshak 10 photo : could it be somewhere in Switzerland along the Rhône river?

Pecole - FYI - not everyone has a copius supply of "real" aerial images to post. Hence images from a high vantage point (e. g. a tall building) are reasonably ok to use instead. Have a look back through the thread.

Your image would be better placed in the "Do you know the World" thread, but the same rules apply - guess "Where" to earn the right to post the next one. :)

Well, frankly, I give up. I think I know all Swiss military airfields, and I do not see any near the Rhone from Geneva to the French border (where the Rhone effectively runs down South).

I'll wait for the delivery of the solution...and your good will.
