no clue from where you took the shot.

Luzern is correct and view from nearby Mt. Rigi (1798m) surrounded by 3 lakes and offering wonderful 360deg vista around. Easy access to the top with Europe’s oldest (since 1871) cogwheel train. Back to You.

Maybe You climbed to the top of this cupola and took the picture towards the tower:

To enter the Cupola di Brunelleschi of Duomo di Firenze you need prebooked ticket or wait in an endless line, so I had to skip it.

So here is the next one:

Just three weeks ago I visited the cathedral with my wife and then walked up into Alfama, then up towards the castle. We cut across down hill through an Asian / Arab quarter full of small shops and Indian restaurants and ended up at that huge square in your picture, Praça Martin Moniz. It was very dirty with many Africans peddling drugs or just hanging around. We hurried through, it was very large, and came out the other side to Rossio.

So it’s So Lisbon, with the Tagus in the horizon at the top, where John Ford liked it. (or so David Lynch states in the Fablemans)

We were there earlier this month, a relatively quiet month. Bought a ticket on the spot and were on our way up 5 minutes later, 463 steps.

I don’t have many pictures from above, so this one is easy. However, I will not ask for the city where this picture was taken from.  Hint: it was not my friend’s apartment.

Thank you.  This one should be relatively easy, except for the fog. Name of the city, please.
