It seems we are at Belle Chasse downstream of New Orleans, and looking upstream towards the "English Turn Bend"... hence the first clue... The Belle Chasse - Scarsdale ferry is seen on its way to Scarsdale in the right-hand part of the photo...

As I said, should this be correct I don't have anything to show at the moment...

Read above as "anybody can post". If not correct, please ignore.

I think the image might be consistent with Switzerland, perhaps eastern Switzerland. There's a notable absence of aerials and even dishes, a scarcity of solar roofs, development is done in lots of surprisingly similar sizes. There are two chapels beside the main church, one apparently part of a cloister or some such, and three farms. There also seems to be a largish school and a small factory. It's a bit hard to see, but there seem to be only few shops; perhaps a sleeping town for a nearby city or agglomeration?

This is where I took the picture:

My wife says it might be Arth am See (Arth upon the lake). The railway hub would be Arth-Goldau. We can't recognize the triangulation point or the vantage point.

I, too, have run out of pictures to show here. So, if this is indeed Arth am See, anyone is invited to post the next mystery picture.

BTW, there's dust on your sensor.
