maximilianm3 Posted November 21, 2014 Share #3643 Â Posted November 21, 2014 I don't recall the name, but you have to take a 'train' that goes up a steep hill to get there. The square on top boast a funny looking church.

Pecole Posted November 30, 2014 Share #3650  Posted November 30, 2014 Just discovered the game. Seems funny. My first entry (not from above) will be very easy, since it is identified by the indication of the exact distance from Tombouctou : 52 days... Where did we encounter this "panel" ? larsv Posted November 30, 2014 Share #3651 Â Posted November 30, 2014 Pecole, Â Thank you. The idea is, that you can only show a photo once you have guessed the correct spot the previous photo represents. And the thread is called "from above" as only photos from above can be posed as a riddle. Â Kind regards, Lars
larsv Posted November 30, 2014 Share #3652 Â Posted November 30, 2014 Is it the Inn river that runs below?

Pecole Posted December 1, 2014 Share #3654  Posted December 1, 2014 OK, Iarsv! sorry, I didn't know the rules of the game. But about the "world from above", I noticed quite a number of level photos, so what? Now about the Toshak 10 photo : could it be somewhere in Switzerland along the Rhône river?
Toshack10 Posted December 1, 2014 Share #3655  Posted December 1, 2014 Switzerland - Yes Rhone - Yes  Any guesses/thoughts as to where on the Rhone (other than above it:))?
spylaw4 Posted December 2, 2014 Share #3656  Posted December 2, 2014 OK, Iarsv! sorry, I didn't know the rules of the game. But about the "world from above", I noticed quite a number of level photos, so what? Now about the Toshak 10 photo : could it be somewhere in Switzerland along the Rhône river?  Pecole - FYI - not everyone has a copius supply of "real" aerial images to post. Hence images from a high vantage point (e. g. a tall building) are reasonably ok to use instead. Have a look back through the thread.  Your image would be better placed in the "Do you know the World" thread, but the same rules apply - guess "Where" to earn the right to post the next one.
Pecole Posted December 2, 2014 Share #3657 Â Posted December 2, 2014 Toshak, don't tell me its Genf (Geneva)? I though of it, but what I see of the airport looks small to be Cointrin.
Toshack10 Posted December 2, 2014 Share #3658 Â Posted December 2, 2014 The airport is too small for Geneva - it's currently a regional airport (and also a military one)
Orient XI Posted December 3, 2014 Share #3659 Â Posted December 3, 2014 Sion?
Pecole Posted December 3, 2014 Share #3660 Â Posted December 3, 2014 Well, frankly, I give up. I think I know all Swiss military airfields, and I do not see any near the Rhone from Geneva to the French border (where the Rhone effectively runs down South). I'll wait for the delivery of the solution...and your good will.
